Come trail riding with us through the fantastic scenery of Cariboo forests, meadows and creeks.

A trail ride is fun for the whole family. You and your children will enjoy the easy handling of your horse, the natural beauty of the surrounding area, the rich population of wildlife, such as deer, moose and eagles.

It's up to you, ride for 2 hours or longer on a trail ride. We can even arrange an overnight ride.

We offer horseback riding to everyone, so you don't have to be a guest of Alexander MacKenzie Ranch to have fun on the back of a horse.

I so much enjoyed riding your lovely horse J.J. through the pretty forest and trails, the aspen grove and by the Muskrat Lakes.  The mule deer antlers that you found on the way and gave to me at the end of the ride was a perfect souvenier for such a day! And seeing the newly born foal with his mom was a bonus - when I got my camera out, he did a few little gallops around the corral, almost like he was putting on a little show just for me. I look forward to coming back next year to repeat such an enjoyable experience.
